Road Trips are in Style Here!

“By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea. You and me, you and me....oh how happy we’ll be. I want to be beside the sea, beside the sea, beside the seaside, by the beautiful s-e-e-e-e-e-ea!”

Bethany and I are so excited! We are going to the sea! The Lord is so good to me! He is blessing me with a trip to the sea for my Birthday! Just today Anja and her sister-in-law, Esther stopped in and said, “Hey, book a little bungalow at Swakupmond for the weekend, all the family will be there and it’ll be great!” So, tomorrow morning we are on our way, a 4 hour drive to a lovely soft sandy place! There will be another baby shower for Anja on Saturday as well with just a few close friends so that’ll be nice. And I am sure lots of adventures are underway. I will write you on the other end of it! Peace! I love you all! Thinking of you on my Birthday!

I hope you dont feel too homesick, just remember we are thinking of you, and are so glad you are able to do something that amazing on your day!! I didnt send you a gift because I heard rumors of things getting stolen, and I didnt want that to happen. I will get you something totally worth the wait when you get home. When is that by the way? I'm trying to plan a trip to KC, and wondering if you might be there? Let me know! Lots of love to you over there!! Geez, your 25 now! Makes me feel old! MuahXXX

Happy Birthday Amanda! Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. (Zechariah 2:10 )
God promises to live among us (John 1:14, Revelation 21:3) and you are living testimony that He does!

I trust that your trip across the Namibia Desert to the little Germany by the sea in Africa was a birthday experience that you will stay with you forever; and your description of your trip to Etosha with all of the animals and the children around sounded awesome too.

We received your post card the other day, thank you very much. I have also read up on your posts and Linus is right, you are nice. What you are doing is surely pleasing the Lord and I too am lifted with what you do. Your heart is right and you put to action what you believe, and God is blessing your every step. Your joy is from the Lord and you are in the will of God in all your ways.

I will send you something special for your birthday when you return to the states or perhaps earlier if I finish it in time. I wonder how long it will take for mail to travel from here to there.

I love you Amanda and you are always on my mind and in my heart.

Love,
Dad

Hey Amanda~
Mama wanted me to send you a happy birthday message on behalf of her. She is in Springfield this weekend and has no computer access. She wants to say she loves you very much and misses you too. Hopes you are doing well, and hopes you had a wonderful birthday! She got your post card a few days ago, "thanks". Love and kisses.

Oh, and she said she will send you a message when she gets back home in a few days:D

Hey Ramona,
I can't wait to see pics of this adventure and all yur others, I hope you have enough memory for it all. And it sounds like you will come home to some birthday gifts, including mine. You were not kidding about the shipping being expensive, I couldn't send the things I was planning, so we will have to make shrinky dinks and button frames with the ladies, they are wishing you a happy Birthday as well, and wondering why you are not here, w came to KC for a four day weekend, I spent the whole day with Beth yesterday and then went on a superior date with Sean, he let me buy him a whole new wardrobe practicly! All his jeans and pants he had were from his YWAM days and all holy snd stained, I felt like I was getting all new clothes, but I don't need any really. I could keep writing this comment/letter but I know your comp time is limited, I so wish I could expeience all the things you are, your happy child heart in all. I love you, your sis. Tricia
